Eggy Animal Stories app for iPhone and iPad

Eggy Animal Stories is an application designed for emerging and newly independent readers. Through a series of engaging stories, children learn about native Australian animals and their habitats. A range of fun activities and games help children develop essential hand-eye coordination skills. They receive instant rewards after completing each activity, and can select from a range of cute and colourful stickers for their awards book.

Eggy Animal Stories features nine stories from the popular Steve Parish Kids Story Book series published by Pascal Press. Each story features wildlife photographs by award-winning Australian photographer Steve Parish and is written by Rebecca Johnson, an author of over 50 books for children. Eggy Animal Stories presents these well-loved stories as a new, fun and interactive experience for young readers.

Eggy Animal Stories includes two FREE habitats (Koala’s Big Day and Clever Clownfish), featuring complete stories and the full range of activities to engage every child. There are nine habitats and stories in total, each featuring a different native Australian animal. Collect them all!

Each habitat includes:

*Read Book
A digital version of one of the most-loved Steve Parish Kids story books with full audio. Choose to read by yourself using the “swipe to read” function, or have the story narrated with the pages changing automatically. The settings in the main menu provide a range of handwriting fonts and audio accents to suit Australia, the UK or USA.

*Quiz
After reading the book, test comprehension skills with a short quiz of five questions relating to the events in the book. Fun sound effects accompany instant answer feedback.

*Art fun
A great selection of detailed drawings of Australian animals featured in the book. Swipe to choose from a range of brightly coloured markers and tap to fill the areas on the screen, then save the completed image to the device.

*Maze
Swipe to choose from a selection of mazes of different shapes and sizes based around the Australian animals featured in the book. Guide the animals from start to finish, but be careful to stay inside the lines!

*Game
Each habitat includes a challenging and exciting game based around the animals and habitat in the book. Each game has three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium and Difficult) and a high score leader board.

*My Awards
A book of all the stickers chosen after completing each activity. Swipe through the pages to see how many have been collected!
